show 68:
The
Mirrors formed a mere five months ago. Already, in that short time, they
have recorded a full length album and played to sold out crowds in clubs around
Los Angeles. The lead singer Jeremy's vocals have been compared to Rod Stewart.
Displaying lush harmonies and a 70's edge, they have drawn comparisons to the
likes of Muse and Wolfmother. However, it is their raw energy, catchy melodies
and thought provoking lyrics that show The Mirrors clearly have their finger
firmly on the pulse of today's new rock music scene : You can buy their new
CD Somewhere Along The Wall at
CD Baby or
download it at
iTunes.
I'm guessing that they will have the new CD's at their gig tonight as well :who: The Mirrors : when: May 26, 2007, 9:00PM $5 : where: Boiler Room, 3534 Broadway, Eureka CA 95501 : links : www.myspace.com/themirrorsband : myspace.com/homeoftheboilerroom : cdbaby.com/cd/themirrors : Intro by Tony Steidler Dennison at the The Roadhouse podcast : Bands can submit music to humcitypodcast@gmail.com : visit us at humcity.libsyn.com and humcity.com : Comments[0] |
